Black vintage satin nightdress

Description

This is a gorgeous, ankle-length, black satin nightdress, by Odette Barsa. It is unusual in that it is designed almost like a dress. The front neckline is wide and rounded, but loose also – like a cowl-neck. The bodice has a small area of ruching down the centre to add fitting to the bust. Around the sides, there are v-shaped black lace inserts. The rear neckline is plain, cut straight across, and elasticated. The straps are made from very thin panels of lace, and non-adjustable. The hemline is plain.

Condition

It is in good condition, with no holes or marks, and has been freshly laundered and line-dried.

Size

It has no size labels but seems to be approximately a size 36 (UK 14). The bodice is at least a D cup. It measures about 17/22 inches across the width (measured flat), and 57 inches in length – from the top of the shoulder to the hemline.
